Zombies in pink skirts? Yes, please. After reading this line I knew I was going to like this book. Usually zombies are undead monsters that like to feed on human flesh *eye roll*, where’s the personality?! In Deadtown zombies are like any other undead/inhuman residents in the old quarantined section of the city. Vicky has the unfortunate pleasure of taking on an immature, pink skirt wearing zombie, Tina – as an intern. Zombies are civilized just be careful not to prick your human finger in front of one. They still thirst for human flesh and will jump over tables to eat you. Write it on a sticky note people!
A demon killing mercenary for hire, Victory helps humans rid the monsters in their nightmares. Bitten by a demon Hellion years ago after one murdered her father, she can sense when one is near and this Hellion is out for her blood. Vicky’s isn’t a zombie nor is she a wolf, she’s a shape shifter whose werewolf boyfriend wants her to stay as a wolf. Towards the end she can turn into something a whole lot freakier. You’ll have to read the book to find out… and I cannot be bribed!
Although there isn’t any romance, I didn’t really miss it *eyes wide* I swear. Vicky’s on and off again relationship with equal right’s lawyer Kane is interesting and when officer Daniel and his sexy blue eyes comes into the picture even better.
This was a fast paced read with plenty of action, some giggles, and a heroine written just the way I like ‘em. Smart, Sassy, and isn’t afraid to kick some ass!

Great review as always KC. I want to be a vampire. There I said it! I want to be a sexy, strong, blood sucking (and maybe sparkly if I’m lucky) vampire. Only, I want to be the BDB kind of vampire because I like food. I don’t want give up food. Oh yeah, and I want to be warm and go out in the sun. Who am I kidding? I just want to be sexy and strong and sparkly. Screw the blood sucking and fangs. Wait, what was the question again? hehe

I think I’d want to be a vampire too! But only if I had complete control over my personality. None of that blood lust drives you crazy stuff or your Master can make you do things against your will because where’s the fun in that. lol.

Great review of another book in my least favorite genre LOL, one look at the cover and I know it is UF!! But I do like the blurb of this one! MMMM I like vampires and shapeshifters, but if I was a shapeshifter I would shift into a black panther!

As for what I’d turn in to, do ghosts count?! I think it would be cool because no one could see you and you could pretty much spy on people and be a total creep. You could do whatever you want. Otherwise, I’d pick a vampire.

My answer would change depending on the time of the year. Around this time of year it would have to be a werewolf. The buzz from simply hanging out in the forests during hunting season usually lasts until the end of January.
The rest of the year it would likely be vampire as I already have photo-sensitivity. Although I have to admit I would prefer the old school Dracula style vamp. Not prevented from being in sunlight, just weakened by it. I may not like the sunlight, but in the summer it is difficult to get a decent latte during the dark hours.

Well, I think I would like to be a were-shifter. I’ve been reading a bunch of books about werewolves and shifters and I’m really digging them right now. Shifters are freakin’ HOT. They have several forms they can shift into, human, half-human, half-were animal, and full were-animal. And all their senses are heightened. mmmm *thinking naughty thoughts, evil laughter*
